Internal Sales Administrator | Building Products

An established supplier of high-quality timber products is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Administrator to join its team in the Moreton Bay region. This is a 12-month, full-time maternity leave contract, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position for the right person.

This is a varied, customer-focused position combining quoting, order processing and internal sales administration. You will work closely with trade customers and internal production, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries and build strong relationships with resellers, timber merchants, builders and other trade customers
• Understand project requirements and recommend suitable products, profiles, grades, dimensions and finishes
• Prepare accurate quotations, follow up sales opportunities and identify appropriate upselling or cross-selling solutions
• Process sales orders from initial enquiry through to fulfilment, confirming pricing, availability, lead times and delivery arrangements
• Coordinate with production, coating, warehouse, accounts and logistics teams to ensure orders progress smoothly
• Keep customers informed and resolve order discrepancies, service issues and changing delivery expectations
• Maintain accurate customer and order records while supporting the wider sales team with account management and administration

About You

You will be an organised, customer-focused professional who enjoys working with technical products and managing the detail required to take an order from initial enquiry through to delivery.

To be successful, you will ideally offer:

• Previous experience in internal sales processing, quoting, order administration or customer service
• Experience within construction, building materials or manufacturing
• Confidence working with technical products and systems such as Frameworks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach

• A base salary up to $90,000 plus superannuation, based on experience
• 7:00AM - 4:00PM Mon - Thurs and 2:00PM Friday
