About the role
At Friday's Sea-Doo & Can-Am, we're not looking for an average mechanic.
We're looking for the technician that other workshops wish they had.
The person who takes pride in every repair, solves problems others can't, owns their work, and genuinely cares about delivering an outstanding experience for every customer.
If you're driven by quality, accountability and excellence—not excuses—we want to hear from you.
Friday's Sea-Doo & Can-Am is one of Western Australia's leading dealerships specialising in Sea-Doo personal watercraft and Can-Am off-road vehicles.
Our reputation has been built on exceptional customer service, technical expertise and doing the job right the first time. We invest in our people, our workshop and the latest diagnostic equipment because we believe great technicians deserve great tools.
You'll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing and repairing Sea-Doo and Can-Am products to the highest standard.
This role is about much more than changing parts. We need someone who can think critically, diagnose accurately and consistently deliver quality workmanship.
You'll be joining a team that values professionalism, efficiency and continuous improvement.
We're searching for someone who demonstrates:
Outstanding diagnostic ability—not guesswork.
Fast, efficient and accurate workmanship.
Pride in producing quality work every time.
Strong work ethic and personal responsibility.
Loyalty, honesty and integrity.
Customer-first attitude.
Team player who supports those around them.
High attention to detail.
Takes ownership from start to finish.
Positive attitude and willingness to keep learning.
Organised, clean and professional in everything they do.
A genuine passion for mechanical excellence.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately.
Repair and maintain Sea-Doo watercraft and Can-Am off-road vehicles.
Perform servicing, inspections and warranty repairs.
Follow BRP repair procedures and manufacturer specifications.
Complete repairs efficiently without compromising quality.
Ensure every vehicle leaves the workshop right the first time.
Maintain detailed repair records.
Keep your workspace clean, organised and safe.
Communicate professionally with customers when required.
Contribute to a positive, high-performing workshop culture.
Qualified Motor Mechanic.
Proven diagnostic experience.
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Excellent time management.
Current manual driver's licence.
Pride in your workmanship.
Commitment to continuous improvement.
Experience with BRP products (Sea-Doo and Can-Am).
Marine or powersports experience.
Diagnostic software experience.
Small engine or marine qualifications.
Excellent salary package based on experience.
Performance incentives for the right person.
Ongoing factory training and professional development.
Modern workshop with the latest diagnostic equipment.
Stable, long-term employment.
Supportive family-owned business that values its people.
Opportunity to build a career—not just have another job.
You cut corners.
You blame others for mistakes.
You struggle to work in a team.
You dislike accountability.
You only do the minimum required.
Customer service isn't important to you.
You take pride in your work.
You enjoy solving difficult problems.
You leave every repair knowing it's been done properly.
You want to work alongside people who care about excellence as much as you do.
You want to build a long-term career with a business that values loyalty, hard work and integrity.
If you're looking for a workplace where your skills are recognised, your effort is appreciated and excellence is the standard—not the exception—we'd love to hear from you.
Please send your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and why you'd be a great fit for our team.
