Pastry production worker Monday-Friday 38hrs weekly

We are a multi-award winning artisan gluten-free bakery with our production kitchen in Alexandria as well as 4 Cafe's (Bondi Junction, Manly, Neutral Bay & CBD). Our very busy HACCP certified bakery trades 7 days a week for take away, online orders, deliveries, catering, wholesale and more. Accredited by Coeliac Australia, our range of innovative premium sweet and savoury products are hand-made with fresh seasonal ingredients. We are looking for a reliable team member to be making large volumes of sweet and savoury items in our pastry division.

Requirements & experience

• Seeking an energetic team member with at least 2 years experience working in a Bakery or Production kitchen.
• Skilled in preparing sweet and savoury items in large volumes.
• Confident in using mixers to safely and efficiently operate bakery equipment to maximise efficiency and quality of product.
• Operate pie machine to prepare pie pastries and fillings as well as other savoury products.
• Must have excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Work rights for Australia required to allow you to work 38 hours per week unrestricted. We are not able to offer Sponsorship or short term visas, this is a long term ongoing role. Taxed, no cash in hand.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Full-time position working 5 shifts a week, Monday to Friday 7am-5pm.
• A team player, capable of communicating, giving and receiving feedback is essential.
• We are looking for someone that is consistent in their approach with a positive attitude and wants to grow with our business long term.
