HR Body Truck & HC Float Drivers Required

About the role

BD Logistics PTY LTD is seeking experienced HR Body Truck & HC Float Drivers to join our transport team on a casual basis. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled drivers looking for flexible work in the road transport industry. Based in Sheldon, QLD 4157, this role offers the chance to work with a reputable logistics company handling a variety of transport operations. As a casual driver, you will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule whilst contributing to our efficient and reliable delivery services.

What you'll be doing

• Operating HR Body Trucks and HC Float vehicles safely and professionally in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies

• Transporting goods and freight to designated locations within scheduled timeframes

• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition

• Maintaining accurate logbooks and delivery documentation

• Loading and unloading freight as required, ensuring cargo is secured appropriately

• Communicating with dispatch and management regarding delivery status and any issues encountered

• Adhering to fatigue management regulations and safe driving practices at all times

• Providing excellent customer service during deliveries and interactions with clients

What we're looking for

• Valid HR or HC driver's licence (current and unrestricted)

• Minimum 2-3 years of professional driving experience with heavy vehicles

• Proven experience operating HR Body Trucks and/or HC Float vehicles

• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations

• Knowledge of road safety regulations and transport legislation

• Excellent time management and organisational skills

• Strong communication abilities and a professional demeanour

• Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading duties as required

• Reliability and punctuality in meeting delivery schedules
