The Opportunity

RSGx is supporting our client to deliver a major urea manufacturing project in Western Australia. Once complete, the facility will be the largest in Australia and among the largest globally, incorporating industry-leading, more sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate around 2,000 jobs during construction and deliver lasting benefits to the local community through careers, training, and business opportunities

We are seeking qualified and experienced Riggers with a minimum 5 years' experience working on large construction projects - structural steel erection

Scope Of Work

The Rigger will be responsible for rigging and structural steel erection activities associated with the project, including:

Carrying out structural steel erection and installation activities.Rigging, lifting and positioning structural steel components using approved lifting equipment and techniques.Conducting pre-start inspections of rigging equipment and ensuring all lifting gear is fit for purpose.Working in accordance with approved lift plans, rigging procedures, drawings and project requirements.Assisting with the safe positioning, alignment and installation of structural steel.Working closely with crane operators, boilermakers, supervisors and other construction personnel to safely complete lifting and erection activities.Ensuring all rigging activities are completed in accordance with site safety and quality requirements.Minimum 5 years’ experience working on large-scale construction projects, with demonstrated structural steel erection experience.Previous FIFO and major construction project experience is highly desirable.Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity throughout all rigging and erection activities.
