About the role

Suncoast Waterproofing and Floor Treatments is seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team on a casual basis. Based in Noosaville, QLD, this position offers flexible work opportunities for someone keen to develop skills in the waterproofing industry. You will be part of a small team delivering high-quality services to our clients across the Noosa and Sunshine Coast region. This role is ideal for individuals seeking casual work with the potential for increased hours as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and site setup for waterproofing and floor treatment projects

• Supporting the installation and application of waterproofing systems and floor treatments under the guidance of experienced team members

• Helping with surface preparation, including cleaning, grinding, jack hammering and protective coating application

• Loading, unloading and transporting materials and equipment to and from job sites

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including proper disposal of waste materials

• Following all health and safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

• Supporting the team with general labouring tasks as required to complete projects on schedule

What we're looking for

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills within the waterproofing and sector

• Ability to work safely and follow health and safety instructions without exception

• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour tasks, including working at heights and in various weather conditions

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to work casual hours as required

• Previous labouring experience in the construction or trades industry is essential for the right candidate

• A current driver's licence is essential

• Relevant White Card (Construction Induction)

• Working At Heights training preferred
