Marketing & Customer Service Officer

Australian Solar Supplies is a Melbourne-based solar wholesale company supplying solar products to installers and electrical businesses across Australia.

We are looking for a Marketing & Customer Service Officer to join our team in Braeside. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys both marketing and dealing directly with customers.

About the Role

You will be responsible for helping us strengthen our marketing, improve customer engagement and provide excellent day-to-day customer service.

The role will include:

• Managing and creating marketing content across digital channels
• Assisting with social media and online marketing activities
• Updating and improving website content and product information
• Creating promotional material, email campaigns and other marketing content
• Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email
• Following up customers and assisting with sales enquiries
• Supporting the sales team with marketing and customer service activities
• Helping identify opportunities to improve customer engagement and retention
• General administrative and office support as required
• Light Warehouse duties

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Must have Australian citizenship or PR, not student visa
• Has a minimum of 2 years' marketing experience
• Has excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Is confident communicating with customers by phone and email
• Has strong attention to detail
• Is organised and able to manage multiple tasks
• Is comfortable learning new software and online systems
• Can work independently while also being part of a small team
• Has a genuine interest in helping a business grow

Experience in solar, electrical, construction, wholesale or another technical industry would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Location

This position is based at our office in Braeside, Melbourne.

Applicants should live within approximately 30 minutes' driving distance of Braeside and be comfortable travelling to our office when required.

Employment

Full-time or part-time employment is available for the right person.

Salary is $77,000 per annum including superannuation for a full-time position, with part-time salary and hours calculated on a pro-rata basis.
