Light Equipment Fitter

CITIC Pacific Mining is seeking an experienced Light Vehicle Fitter to join our Site Support Services team on a permanent 2/1 continuous shift roster (nights & days), FIFO ex Perth.

Reporting to the Supervisor – Light Equipment, this role is part of the Light Vehicles team where you will be performing the Servicing, Repair & Maintenance of light equipment- including Toyota light vehicles, heavy rigid trucks and prime movers, forklifts, skid loaders, EWP’s and other small equipment as required.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

• Conducting inspections, adjustments, servicing and repairs utilising advanced trade skills, relevant tools and testing equipment.
• Complete a range of multi skilled tasks associated with mechanical areas on light equipment.
• Complete work order documentation.
• Source parts as required through the appropriate manuals or publications using the correct ordering procedures.
• Conduct technical inspections.
• Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of light equipment non-conformance, identify and record any light equipment quality problems.

Successful applicant will have:

• Automotive Mechanic Trade Certificate
• ARTIC Licence (preferred- not essential)
• Extensive mobile equipment experience
• SAP  
• Computing skills (Technical & Diagnostic software)
• A current Drivers Licence is essential
• High Risk Work Licence (FL & WP)
