Participant Engagement Consultant

Social Futures is a leading community service organisation and registered community housing provider with 50 years’ experience creating positive social change. We work with communities, organisations and government to build inclusive communities where everyone is valued and supported.

We are seeking a Participant Engagement Consultant to join our Inclusive Employment team on a Full Time, Fixed term basis in Cowra to help make a positive social change, together.

What you'll be doing

• Walking alongside Inclusive Employment Australia participants on their employment journey and supports participants to achieve their employment goals.
• Deliver tailored, person-centred support to participants during work preparation and job placement deliver tailored, person-centred support to participants during work preparation and job placement.
• Support participants from first point of contact using relevant relationship/information management systems. 

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in an employment service organization or experience in disability employment, and an understanding of the barriers faced by individuals with disability, mental health or medical conditions in accessing employment.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
• Demonstrated well-developed organisational, time management and administrative skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines.
