About the Role

Based from our Melbourne office, you'll work across a diverse portfolio of commercial sites, providing maintenance, fault finding, commissioning and project support for Building Management Systems.

You'll play a key role in maintaining long-term customer relationships by delivering exceptional technical service and identifying opportunities to improve building performance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Service, maintain, fault-find and commission Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Take ownership of small works BMS project, or develop the skills to do so with mentoring and support to build your project engineering capability from quotation through to completion.
• Diagnose system faults and provide practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Identify opportunities for system optimisation, upgrades and energy efficiency improvements.
• Prepare quotations and technical recommendations for minor works.
• Build strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with work coordinators, project teams and management to deliver quality outcomes.
• Promote a safe working environment by identifying hazards and following safe work practices.
• Identify opportunities for repairs, refurbishment projects and new business
• Support the Victorian BMS team across metropolitan and regional Victoria when required.

What You'll Bring

Essential

• Electrical Licence or Restricted Disconnect/Reconnect Licence.
• Hands-on experience servicing, maintaining and fault-finding commercial electrical or BMS systems.
• Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
• Current Driver Licence.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Current Australian working rights (or the right to work in Australia).

Desirable

• Experience working with Niagara AX and/or Niagara N4 platforms.
• Niagara Certification (if you have demonstrated Niagara experience but aren't certified, we'll support you to achieve certification).
• Experience with Distech or Honeywell WEBS platforms.
• Previous HVAC service experience.
• Experience preparing quotations for small works.
• Experience managing minor BMS projects from start to finish.
• Ability to identify opportunities that add value for clients.
