About the role
Good Neighbours is an international development NGO founded in 1991 for the purpose of reducing poverty in some of the most marginalised communities around the world. It implements programs and projects to protect the rights of children and support vulnerable populations, helping them achieve self-reliance and rebuild hope.
Good Neighbours Australia (GNAU), established in 2018, supports programs across education, health, nutrition, water and sanitation, economic empowerment, and humanitarian relief, while also responding to needs within Australian communities.
GNAU is a member of the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID), registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC), and holds Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) and Public Benevolent Institution (PBI) statuses.
The Donor Administration Officer plays a vital role in supporting Good Neighbours Australia's fundraising and operational activities by ensuring the efficient administration of donor services, fundraising campaigns, and organisational processes. This position is responsible for delivering a high standard of donor care through accurate donation processing, CRM database management, reporting, and donor communications, helping to build strong and lasting relationships with supporters.
Reporting to the Admin Manager, the role also provides broad administrative support across the organisation, including assisting with human resources administration, meeting coordination, and office operations, event coordination. In addition, the Donor Administration Officer supports the coordination of domestic and international In-Kind (IK) projects, including logistics, shipping documentation, and stakeholder liaison.
The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.
