About the role:

This is a full‑time role based in our North Ryde office for a Senior Business Analyst supporting transformation initiatives, rather than BAU operational activity. The role delivers high‑quality business analysis across complex, project‑based transformation programs, working closely with Project Managers, Change Managers, and transformation delivery teams.

You will work closely with the business to translate customer insights and strategic direction into well‑defined initiatives, shaping work through the lifecycle from definition and analysis through to implementation. The role focuses on understanding current challenges, defining future‑state processes, and ensuring solutions deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead end‑to‑end business analysis activities to define, validate, and optimise business requirements across transformation initiatives
• Analyse business functions and processes to inform operational objectives and strategic decision‑making
• Develop clear current‑state and future‑state process maps, workflows, and specifications to support solution design and investment cases
• Lead the design of "To Be" business processes, ensuring alignment with organisational standards and transformation objectives
• Engage and influence senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure solutions meet requirements and deliver intended benefits
• Provide strategic insight into business drivers, risks, benefits, and benefits realisation opportunities
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and measurable outcomes
• Oversee test planning, acceptance criteria, and UAT to ensure solution readiness and high‑quality delivery

What you bring to the role:

• 5+ years' experience in Business Analysis roles across relevant industries.
• Strong business analysis capability, including requirements elicitation, process modelling, and solution evaluation.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage business users, senior leaders, and technical stakeholders.
• Proven facilitation, negotiation, and influencing skills across complex stakeholder groups.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and delivery methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, with the ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and process designs.
• Experience leading analysis on medium to large or complex initiatives.
• Proven experience supporting end‑to‑end delivery, including requirements, testing, and transition into BAU.
