Help us find the next generation of Fernwood locations.

Fernwood Fitness is one of Australia's most recognised women's health and fitness brands, and we're looking to accelerate the growth of our national club network. We're seeking a proactive, commercially minded Franchise Site Acquisition Manager to actively uncover new location opportunities across Australia. This is a newly created role with a very clear objective: help us increase the number of quality new Fernwood locations entering our development pipeline. You'll work closely with and report to our National Franchise Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively identify potential Fernwood locations within priority areas and growth markets

• Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial and retail leasing agents

• Regularly search commercial property platforms and off-market opportunities

• Contact agents, landlords and developers regarding current and upcoming opportunities

• Drive target areas, identify potential sites and follow up opportunities

• Keep abreast of new developments, shopping precincts and emerging commercial areas

• Undertake initial screening of opportunities against Fernwood's site requirements

• Gather key information including size, location, parking, access, surrounding businesses, demographics and indicative commercial terms

• Maintain an active pipeline of potential sites and provide regular updates to the franchising team

• Present qualified opportunities to the National Franchise Manager for further assessment and progression

• Naturally proactive and loves finding opportunities

• Confident picking up the phone and building new relationships

• Strong commercial instincts and can quickly assess whether an opportunity is worth pursuing

• Persistent, resourceful and comfortable chasing leads

• Enjoys being out in the market rather than sitting behind a desk all week

• Can manage a large pipeline without losing momentum

• Communicates clearly and works well as part of a broader development team

• Motivated by results and enjoys being rewarded for creating tangible outcomes

• Experience within commercial property, leasing, franchising, retail development, fitness or multi-site businesses highly regarded
