Painter Blasters & Painter Blaster Supervisors

SMS Group Services are currently seeking experienced and reliable Painter Blasters, Leading Hands and Supervisors for shutdowns and ongoing roles south of the river. 

Essential Criteria:

• Previous experience working as a Painter Blaster or Painter Blaster Supervisor
• Ability to work independently and within fast-paced teams
• Strong commitment to safety and dedication to providing quality work
• Construction White Card
• Confined Space (CSE)
• Working at Heights (WAH)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol
• Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
• Rights to work in Australia

Desirable Criteria:

• Certificate III in Surface Preparation
• NACE/AMPP Coating Inspector Level 1 (CIP 1)
• NACE/AMPP Coating Inspector Level 2 (CIP 2) (Preferred for Supervisors)
• NACE/AMPP Coating Inspector Level 3 (CIP 3) (Highly Desirable for QA/QC Supervisors)
• UHP Operate a High Pressure Water Jetting System Certificate (Hydro Blasters)
• Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
• Current Police Clearance
• Forklift Ticket (LF)
• Elevated Work Platform (WP)
