Experienced Barista

About the role

We're looking for an experienced, friendly and reliable Barista & Beverage All-Rounder to join our small team. This is primarily a barista and beverage role. You'll also assist with customer service and floor duties when required. You must be confident working independently during busy morning periods while maintaining consistent coffee quality and friendly service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee with latte art

• Make smoothies, juices and other cold beverages

• Take customer orders and provide friendly service

• Maintain a clean and organised coffee station

• Clear and clean tables when required

• Assist the wider café team during busy periods

About you

• At least 2 years' recent café or barista experience

• Confident producing quality coffee quickly and consistently

• Strong latte art skills

• Experience making smoothies, juices and other cold beverages

• Clear and confident spoken English for taking orders and assisting customers

• Friendly, presentable and comfortable speaking with customers

• Available on weekdays, particularly Fridays

• Reliable transport for 5:30 am starts

• Currently living within a reasonable travelling distance of Sandringham NSW

• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights

• Reliable, punctual and calm under pressure

Kiss The Barista is a busy beachfront café in Sandringham, known for great coffee, fresh food and friendly local service. We are open daily from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm, with no late-night shifts.
