As a member of the Catering team at St Peters Lane Cove, you will be preparing high quality food and providing a great dining service to our residents to ensure a high quality of life.

About The Role

Providing resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation, providing a quality dining service and assisting residents as requiredSupporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spiritWorking in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you’ll need

A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderlyStrong communication skills and a positive attitudeCertificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) – desirable but not essentialGood understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygieneWarm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of peopleAble to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain
