Retail Salesperson - Flooring (Werribee/Thomastown/Dandenong)

National Floors Australia is one of the country's fastest-growing flooring retailers. Since 2015 we've helped more than 10,000 customers create homes they love, and we're still growing. We're now looking for a driven Retail Salesperson to join our showroom team. You'll be based across two locations on rotation — Werribee and Thomastown, or Thomastown and Dandenong — giving you exposure to different customers, products and markets.

This is a full-time, in-showroom sales role (including Saturdays) for someone who genuinely enjoys people and takes pride in doing the job well. You'll guide customers through their flooring choices, prepare accurate quotes, and see each sale through from the first conversation to a confirmed order. You don't need flooring experience — we provide full, paid training on our products, systems and sales process. What you do need is real sales ability and the ambition to grow.

We'll be upfront: this is a demanding, target-driven role, and we hold a high standard. In return, we invest properly in our people — strong training, ongoing coaching, clear targets, and genuine opportunities to progress.

What you'll do

• Welcome customers to the showroom, understand their needs, and recommend across our range — hybrid, laminate, timber, and wool or nylon carpet

• Measure and calculate floor areas and prepare accurate quotes, including scotia, trims and carpet removal

• Calculate margins, negotiate confidently, and close the sale

• Process deposits and orders through our systems (full training provided)

• Follow up your own leads and consistently meet your sales targets and KPIs

• Maintain showroom presentation and help run the store as required

What you'll bring

• Around 1+ year of sales experience, with a strong record of closing

• Confident, articulate communication and a genuine enjoyment of working with people

• Comfort working to clear sales targets and KPIs

• Confidence with numbers — quoting, measuring and margins

• Availability full-time, including Saturdays

• Reliability, drive and a collaborative, values-driven approach

• Australian work rights and the ability to commute to Dandenong or Thomastown

Flooring experience is not required — if you can sell and you're ready to learn, we'll teach you the rest.
