Customer Service Officer - Parts

About the role

As Customer Service Officer - Parts at LiftRite Hire & Sales, you will act as the principal point of contact for customers sourcing spare parts & attachments from our Manitou & Kobelco range. Reporting to the Parts Manager you'll play an integral role in the customer experience journey at Liftrite.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting customers by phone, email or online with their enquiries on spare parts & attachment

• Identify opportunities to add value by promoting relevant attachments, spare parts, and service kits during customer interactions

• Execute precise data entry for orders, quotes, and credits while maintaining meticulous digital and physical records

• Identify and issue parts for workshop, field service, and external customers using technical manuals and digital systems

• Assist the Service Department with quote preparation and provide high-level backup for customer inquiries and orders

• Maintain a hazardous-free workspace and contribute to quality assurance by identifying more efficient processing workflows

About you

• Proven experience in a Parts Sales or Warehousing environment, preferably within the heavy machinery or automotive sectors

• A naturally persuasive personality who looks beyond the initial request to solve the customer's broader needs

• Professional telephone manner and the ability to manage customer expectations under pressure

• A disciplined approach to time management, planning, and taking full responsibility for task completion

• A high level of technical curiosity with the ability to learn complex parts systems and machinery specs rapidly

• Advanced computer skills with a track record of accurate data entry
