A Grade Electrician

We are seeking a skilled A-Grade Electrician to join our team and provide expert electrical services within the caravan industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for fault finding, electrical installations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fault Finding & Diagnosis:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot 240V and 12V electrical faults in caravans.

  • Conduct detailed inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure safety and performance.

• Testing & Certification:

  • Perform electrical testing of 240V wiring in caravans, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Issue signed Energy Safe Certificates for completed work.

• Installation of Electrical Systems:

  • Install electrical systems, including inverters, batteries, DC to DC chargers, solar panels, and associated components.

  • Ensure that installations are carried out in line with industry best practices and safety standards.

• Customer & Dealership Liaison:

  • Assist with warranty issues and troubleshoot problems reported by customers.

  • Communicate effectively with dealerships and customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner.

• Quality & Compliance:

  • Ensure all work complies with Australian Electrical Standards and Energy Safe regulations.

  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail on every project.

• Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed, including testing, inspections, and installations.

  • Provide detailed reports to customers and dealerships when required.

• A-Grade Electrical License: Must hold a valid A-Grade Electrical License.

• Experience: Proven experience working with 240V and 12V electrical systems, particularly in the caravan, RV, or automotive industries.

• Minimum Experience Requirements: Candidates ideally with more than 5 years of experience in caravan and RV electrical systems.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, including inverters, batteries, solar systems, and DC to DC chargers.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently.

• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards.

• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with customers, dealerships, and team members.

• Customer Service: Ability to provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.

• Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and electrical systems within the caravan industry.
