Long Haul Truck Driver (MC) – A-Doubles
Geelong, VIC | Full-Time | Above Award Pay
SASREO Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Long Haul Truck Driver (MC) to join our team based in Geelong, Victoria. This full-time role involves long-distance linehaul work between Victoria and South Australia, operating A-double combinations.
You’ll play a key role in the safe, efficient, and on-time delivery of freight to our customers.
What you’ll be doingSafely operating heavy freight vehicles, including semi-trailers and A-doubles
Completing local runs across Victoria
Completing long-distance linehaul runs between VIC and SA
Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
Complying with all NHVR, fatigue management, and road transport regulations
Maintaining accurate logbooks and trip documentation
Communicating clearly with dispatch, customers, and internal teams
Assisting with loading and unloading where required
Minimum 3 years’ experience in long-haul driving
MC licence (essential)
Proven experience with A-double combinations
Strong understanding of road safety and fatigue management
Reliable, professional, and safety-focused approach
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Clean driving record
Average earnings above standard long-haul award rates
Stable full-time employment with consistent work
