STORES PERSON

Osborne Motor Bodies are looking for a storeperson for our workshop in bassendean. OMB manufacture truck bodies and other automotive items and are in need of a skilled stores - procurement operative to take over the role of our long standing person who is moving to a role closer to his home.

The role is a very important part of our operation and involves stock control, ordering of goods, record keeping utilising both excel spreadsheets and microsoft programs to track orders, procure goods and negotiate with suppliers. You must be a great communicator to work with our team of around 40 people within the workshop to supply all they require to hit target builds.

The person we are looking for must have experience within this area, be fit and able to lift packages and items into the shelving, have a good understanding of the english language both verbal and written, and be proficient with computers and microsoft programs. A clean manual driving license is essential.

This is not just a sit at a desk role, this is full on all day comprising, pick up stores, order stores, discuss requirements within the workshop, look for better pricing, check goods on arrival. You need to be fit.

Having said the above, the team are great and give 100% backing to all.

We offer a four day week.
