The Opportunity
We are currently seeking skilled Gyprockers to join our expanding team. These are full-time FIFO roles from Perth, operating on a 14:7 roster.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately measuring and cutting plasterboard
• Positioning and securing the panels to the walls and ceiling.
• Prepare and secure corner beads.
• Secure panel mouldings, cornices ceiling centres and other kinds of plaster fittings.
• Pasting coats of plaster, render and cement using trowels
• Levelling and smoothing plaster layers
• Covering and smoothing over nail holes and joins, using plaster, sealing compounds and sandpaper
• Applying finishing coats and adding decorative effects if required.
• Applying fireproofing, acoustic, and insulating materials bonded with plaster.
Must haves:
• Proven experience in gyprocking / plasterboard installation
• Relevant trade background or equivalent on-the-job experience
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• C Class Unrestricted Driver’s Licence
• Working at Heights certification (preferred)
• RTIO Induction (preferred)
• High attention to detail and strong safety mindset
• Respect for Indigenous culture and values
