They use digital tools to develop the communication strategyof the company that employs them. This includes the website, social networks, affiliation and referencing tools.
They are the guarantors of a brand’s e-reputation . They are responsible for promoting and disseminating it online. They find solutions to enhance the company’s image and help it stand out from the competition. They work to convey a positive image of the company to prospective customers. The web remains his main field of intervention.
He also acts as a link between the company and Internet users. His work covers several areas: communication, marketing, sales techniques and creativity.

The Digital Communications Manager is responsible for the entire web side of the communications strategy. They are entrusted with a number of tasks. These include :
analyse the company’s needs;define and implement a digital communications strategy;monitor competitors to adjust the established strategy;monitor technology to identify trends and developments;evaluate the behaviour of Internet users and their consumption patterns;enter into partnerships with web agencies and service providers;manage all online operations and projects;be responsible for internal and external digital communications;disseminate your company’s brand image on the Web;manage online operations, ensuring that budgets and deadlines are respected;enhance the company’s brand image and monitor its e-reputation;Produce digital content in support of the brand;finding the right channels for distributing multimedia content;manage the website and its content. It optimises its operation;monitor the performance of actions ;measure network audience and website traffic;work with the communications department to highlight an event or promotion on the Web;animate the community by organising online activities such as competitions;reporting to management on the impact of the strategy;organise advertising campaigns.
