About Our Company
CEA is an Australian Commonwealth company that designs, develops, manufactures and sustains advanced active phased array radar systems. The company’s design principles and commitment to investment in research and development ensures innovative thinking, technological skill, and quality fabrication.
Our programs include the ANZAC and Hunter Class frigates and air defence applications for Army and Air Force, and Range applications. Through our longstanding and ongoing collaboration with Defence, CEA Technologies has undertaken research and development into all aspects of active electronically scanned array technologies. This has resulted in the creation of a highly modular and scalable product suite, which have become integral to a wide range of critical Defence capabilities.
The Role
The Systems Engineer will work with multi discipline engineering teams performing tasks in the coordination and development of system design artefacts.
This includes development of system specifications and system interfaces, development of technical documentation including production procedures, customer delivered user manuals and participating in manufacture and set-to-work (verification and validation) of delivered systems.
You’ll join a forward thinking team focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and shaping the future of the industry. Working alongside experienced leaders and subject matter experts, you’ll gain valuable mentorship and exposure to meaningful projects.
Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate for this role is an Engineering Graduate with a solid understanding of fundamental electrical/electronic theory and familiarity with systems or project engineering principles. We are looking for candidates who are strong communicators, motivated to work in a dynamic environment and value enthusiasm, initiative and problem solving skills.
