Stylist/Sales Consultant - Remote (AU)

As our Stylist/Sales Consultant, you'll guide customers through their rug selection journey—offering expert styling advice, answering product inquiries, and turning design inspiration into beautiful, completed spaces while delivering a best-in-class experience.

This is a full-time remote role.

About the Role

As a Stylist/Sales Consultant, you’ll be a core Miss Amara brand ambassador and subject matter expert, helping drive revenue by bringing our products to life for our customers. Managing inbound styling requests across email, chat, phone, and virtual consultations, you will combine design flair with a consultative sales approach. You will use visualization tools like mood boards and RoomVo to recommend tailored rug suggestions, helping customers feel confident in their choices while actively contributing to individual and team sales goals. All while upholding our core values: We Care, Be Transparent, FTLA (Fast Test Learn Adapt), Keep It Simple, and Best in Class.

What You’ll Do

• Respond to styling and product inquiries via live chat, email, phone, and video calls within set turnaround times, guiding customers toward the perfect rug.  
• Craft personalized rug recommendations with custom draft orders and product feature breakdowns to convert leads and achieve team sales targets.  
• Use visualization tools like RoomVo and digital mood boards to elevate the customer experience and visually bring concepts to life.  
• Proactively nurture leads, conduct outreach, and manage customer follow-ups to foster long-term loyalty and drive repeat sales.  
• Work closely with CX, Care Support, Marketing, and Production teams to ensure seamless customer journeys and continuous engagement initiatives.  
• Participate in macro reviews, social engagement initiatives, and continuous improvement projects to keep our styling offerings best-in-class.  

What will help you succeed

You'll likely bring:

• Formal qualifications or certifications in Interior Design, Styling, or a related field.  
• Proven experience in retail, customer service, omnichannel sales, or interior design/styling.  
• A self-motivated, proactive mindset with the ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment.  
• A genuine passion for interior design, home decor, and helping customers visualize their dream spaces.  
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport and close sales.  
• Familiarity with sales systems and styling tools, such as Shopify, Gorgias, and RoomVo (or similar).  
• Strong accountability toward meeting personal KPIs and actively contributing to team sales success.  
• A curious, creative, and customer-first attitude with a drive to continuously test, learn, and adapt.
