Brake Press Operator / Sheet Metal Fabricator

Fleetweld is a busy truck body building and manufacturing business specialising in custom service bodies and specialised commercial vehicles.

About the role

You will be responsible for the fabrication and forming of components used in custom truck bodies and specialised vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Operate brake presses, guillotines and sheet metal folders

• Folding and forming zinc, steel and aluminium

• Welding and general fabrication

• Read and interpret basic drawings and measurements

• Produce quality components to required specifications

• Maintain a safe and organised work area

About you

• Previous experience operating a brake press

• Experience using guillotines and sheet metal folders

• Welding and fabrication experience

• Experience working with zinc, steel and aluminium

• Ability to read measurements and drawings

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently and as part of a team

• Previous experience in truck body building or automotive manufacturing will be highly regarded
