Your Contribution

As a Supervisor Medium Term Planning, you'll supervise medium-term mine planning activities to support production goals and regulatory requirements. You'll guide the development of practical mine plans, forecasts and operating scenarios that align with long-term planning and business objectives

Profile description:

As Part of Our Team, You Will

• Lead medium-term mine planning, quarterly forecasting, scheduling and scenario analysis in alignment with long-term plan guidance.
• Develop mining budgets covering financial and physical requirements, including capital expenditure planning, within required deadlines.
• Produce haul optimisation and productivity models, reconcile fleet requirements, and evaluate mine development, equipment and operating method options.
• Lead pit stage, waste dump stage and bench development designs, while developing stockpile strategies aligned with long-term plans and business goals.
• Provide technical support across mine planning, geology and operations, recommend appropriate planning methods and systems, and coach and mentor engineers within the team.

Prerequisites for Success in This Role

• A Bachelor's degree in Mine Engineering or a related discipline, together with a P.Eng. designation.
• Experience and understanding of mine engineering responsibilities and how they integrate with mine operations, including short- and long-range mine planning, drill and blast, and projects.
• Experience across both engineering and mine operations is preferred.
• Proficiency with Alastri, Deswik, MineSight and Vulcan, including the ability to review and approve technical documents.
• Capability in risk management, business improvement, and project or contract management, supported by practical judgement, collaboration and effective team leadership.
