This is a Permanent Full-Time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight.

Position Profile:  
We are seeking a suitably experienced and enthusiastic person to lead and manage our Learning and Development delivery team. The successful candidate will liaise with key stakeholders across CAHS to implement learning and development initiatives in response to identified capability gaps, legislative requirements and/or  to support continuous development. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage the implementation and continuous improvement of value-oriented, impactful, equitably and sustainable learning initiatives that are led, coordinated or owned by People, Capability and Culture (PCC). Implementation accountability includes coordination, delivery, monitoring and reporting of learning initiatives across CAHS.
• Promote a CAHS-wide quality framework that is consistently applied in the delivery of learning initiatives – achieved through monitoring and evaluation of initiatives and by consulting with internal stakeholders and partner SME learning teams.
• Ensure that the Corporate Learning Management System (LMS) is provisioned to offer a fit-for-purpose, contemporary user interface, provides a positive user experience, and is able to serve as the organisation’s single source of truth for CAHS-wide Learning and Development data.
• Provide a leadership, coaching, mentoring and support role to direct reports and other staff within the L&D team.
• Lead the team to plan and prepare professional learning activities and projects including the learning management system, project work plans, risk management and operations plans.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants found suitable for this position may be considered for other ‘similar’ vacancies within CAHS and/or the wider WA public sector.
