We currently have a vacancy for experienced mechanics based in our Derrimut workshop to maintain and repair our company owned fleet of utes, trucks, trailers and materials handling equipment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of heavy vehicles, including utes, trucks, trailers and specialized equipment.

• Conduct in house mechanical works to ensure all vehicles are in top working condition.

• Ability to diagnose and prioritise tasks.

• Maintain detailed records of all repairs, parts used, and labour hours to ensure accurate maintenance and service history.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and provide assistance when needed.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Requirements:

• Australian Trade Qualification – Mechanical (Heavy or Light and willingness to upskill).

• Ability to work overtime during peak periods.

• Flexibility for rotating after hours call out roster.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 

• A current driver's licence.  

• HC or MC licence or willingness to obtain.
