About Us:
Dyers is a proud family-owned logistics company which has operated since 1932 and is committed to employing great people to maintain our outstanding service levels.
We currently have a vacancy for experienced mechanics based in our Derrimut workshop to maintain and repair our company owned fleet of utes, trucks, trailers and materials handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of heavy vehicles, including utes, trucks, trailers and specialized equipment.
Conduct in house mechanical works to ensure all vehicles are in top working condition.
Ability to diagnose and prioritise tasks.
Maintain detailed records of all repairs, parts used, and labour hours to ensure accurate maintenance and service history.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and provide assistance when needed.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Requirements:
Australian Trade Qualification – Mechanical (Heavy or Light and willingness to upskill).
Ability to work overtime during peak periods.
Flexibility for rotating after hours call out roster.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A current driver's licence.
HC or MC licence or willingness to obtain.
