MC Truck Driver – Officer

About the role:  

Hygain is looking for an experienced Truck Driver with a Multi Combination Licence to join our warehouse team on a full-time basis. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our products are delivered to the highest quality. This role will require you to deliver equine feed locally and long distance in Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:      

• Safe operation of a MC truck for deliveries across Victoria both locally and regionally
• Capability to drive across varying road conditions
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle meets road safety standards
• Always Comply with Hygain’s safety standards and CoR requirements
• Communicate effectively with the operations team and clients, providing updates as required
• Manage required documentation, including logbooks and delivery paperwork
• Report any issues or incidents to the management team promptly

About you

To succeed in the role, you will require:

• Current unrestricted MC licence is essential
• 3+ years MC driving experience
• Good load restraint skills
• Solid driving history and ability to work autonomously
• A good understanding of Chain of Responsibility
• Strong knowledge of road transport legislation
• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Familiarity with Victorian roads
• Have excellent verbal and written skills
• Be reliable and motivated to succeed
• Be physically fit to undertake manual and repetitive tasks with the ability to lift up to 20kg
• Can do attitude with a team focus
• A forklift licence is desirable
