About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a New Graduate Exercise Physiologist (EP) to join the University of Canberra Hospital (UCH) Exercise Physiology team in 2027. As the only dedicated HP1 EP position within CHS, this is a unique opportunity to gain experience in a public health hospital setting.
You will work in a growing and dynamic health service that is committed to providing state of the art services to Canberra and the surrounding regions.
The Exercise Physiology team based at UCH provides Exercise Physiology services to UCH inpatient rehabilitation wards, Brindabella Day and Ambulatory Rehabilitation Services (BDARS) outpatient rehabilitation clinics and the UCH Hydrotherapy service. The successful applicant will be supported through onsite clinical supervision and support and access to internal and external professional development opportunities to meet personal development needs. Links with ongoing education opportunities facilitated through the Allied Health New Graduate program and Allied Health Clinical Education Unit will provide a supportive network with other HP1 peers and valuable professional and clinical development opportunities.
