Help shape the delivery of Bradfield City—one of Australia’s most ambitious urban development programs. As Manager, Development Program, you will lead the day-to-day management of the Major Works Program across master planning, civil works, land release and commercial activation. This role would suit someone with strong precinct development and/or project management understanding, who can confidently navigate complex delivery environments, connect people, priorities and interdependencies, and keep the program aligned with organisational objectives and strategic outcomes for Western Sydney. You will establish and strengthen the governance, reporting, systems and controls that support confident decision-making and effective program delivery. Partnering with Project Directors, project teams, subject matter experts and external stakeholders, you will maintain oversight of key interfaces, emerging risks and delivery challenges; develop practical change and mitigation plans; and provide clear, robust advice on issues affecting program performance. You will also contribute to high-quality Board papers, briefings, reports, reviews and assurance activities, while promoting collaboration, information sharing and timely resolution of issues across the program. For more information about this position, read the full Role Description: Manager Development Prgram BDA What you will bring to the role :Extensive knowledge of program or project controls, including scope, cost, time, risk, contingency, change management and governance frameworks.Proven experience managing complex programs with multiple interdependencies, interfaces and competing priorities, ideally within urban development or a comparable delivery environment.Strong strategic planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to monitor performance, respond to changing market or policy conditions and keep initiatives aligned with organisational objectives.Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise and persuasive advice, reports, briefings and governance documentation for diverse audiences.Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate and build trusted relationships with senior leaders, project teams, technical specialists, service providers and external stakeholders.A results-focused approach, with sound judgement, resilience and accountability for delivering high-quality outcomes within agreed budgets, timeframes and assurance requirements.Experience leading and developing people, fostering collaboration and information sharing, and creating clear expectations that support team performance and cultural safety.
What is an essential requirement:Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in the urban development sector.
