$31 – $35 per hour

Casper's Pies & Pastries are proud producers of award winning gourmet Pies, Sausage Rolls, Quiches, Filo's, Frittatas plus a wide range of sweets and desserts.

We are looking for an experienced pastry chef to join our rapidly growing company

Our busy commercial kitchen in Bayswater operates from Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm and is looking for hard working, positive people to join our team.

On the job training will be provided, however we are searching for staff who have experience in food handling and hygiene procedures.

Minimum 6-12 months of food handling experience is required for this position.

After a qualifying period, full time or permanent part-time options will be offered to the right candidates.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Collaborate with the team to meet high-volume demands without compromising quality.

• Working on a production line.

• Working in all areas of the kitchen from producing, finishing and storage of baked products.

• Always maintaining the cleanliness of machinery and general work area.

• General kitchen duties as directed.

ABOUT YOU

• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards and be able to follow guidelines & safe work practices.

• Honest, reliable and punctual with a good work ethic is essential for this position.

• Able to follow instructions.

• Adaptability for flexible working hours across the week, flexible start times is also an option.

• Must be a hard worker and physically fit.

• Must have rights to work in Australia.

• Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
