Marketing Specialist

Fusion College of Technology is a CRICOS-registered RTO based in Parramatta. We deliver vocational education and training in trades, IT, business, hospitality and community services to domestic and international students.

We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to research market opportunities and develop, coordinate and evaluate marketing strategies that support sustainable enrolment growth. Reporting to senior management, the role will advise on course positioning, pricing, promotion and recruitment channels; lead integrated campaigns; and use data and market insights to improve performance. The role also supports relationships with education agents and industry partners and ensures marketing activities comply with applicable CRICOS and Australian education-sector requirements.

The role is based at our Parramatta campus. Applicants should state their current Australian work-rights status.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and commission market research into course demand, competitor offerings, student preferences and broader education-sector trends
• Collect and analyse market and campaign data to identify target segments, priority regions and opportunities for new and existing courses
• Advise senior management on marketing objectives, course positioning, product mix, pricing, promotion and student recruitment channels
• Develop, implement and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns, including budgets, timelines, lead-conversion performance, cost-effectiveness and return on investment
• Manage website content, social media, paid advertising, SEO and analytics, using performance insights to continually improve campaigns
• Create, edit and maintain engaging written, visual and video content, including brochures, web copy, social media posts, campaign assets and supporting marketing documentation, and coordinate production with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
• Build and maintain professional relationships with education agents, media outlets, advertising agencies and industry partners
• Plan and participate in recruitment activities, including webinars, open days, information sessions and education fairs
• Prepare evidence-based reports and recommendations for management, and ensure marketing materials comply with applicable CRICOS, ESOS, RTO and brand requirements

Skills and experience

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business or a related field—an Australian qualification or recognised overseas equivalent
• At least two years of relevant professional marketing experience, including market research, strategy, campaign planning and performance analysis
• Demonstrated ability to interpret market and campaign data, evaluate ROI and present clear, evidence-based recommendations
• Hands-on experience with content creation and digital marketing tools, including website content, social media, SEO, paid advertising and analytics, with confidence creating and editing professional short-form videos
• Strong written communication, stakeholder-management, organisation and project-delivery skills
• Experience in a CRICOS-registered RTO or similar education provider is preferred; experience developing campaigns for onshore and international education markets, including South Asia, Latin America or East Asia, is highly regarded

Pay: $80,000.00 – $87,000.00 per year
