About the role
Transparent Medical Imaging is a locally owned, community-focused radiology clinic in Elwood, Melbourne. Our mission is simple: to provide high-quality, accessible, and affordable diagnostic imaging to our local community.
We take immense pride in delivering top-tier patient care without financial barriers. Equipped with state-of-the-art, low-dose technology, our modern facility operates 7 days a week and offers a warm, collaborative, and supportive environment for both team members and patients.
We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused CT and general XR Radiographer to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of CT and general radiographic practices, aiding in the establishment of a new CT service. We are looking for a strong team player, to integrate into our vibrant team. Flexibility in working across CT, General X-ray examinations and high end dental CBCT work, this person will be instrumental in day to day clinic operations.
Diagnostic Imaging: Perform high-quality CT and general X-ray procedures.
Patient Care: Guide patients through their procedures with empathy, clear communication, and professional care.
Radiation Safety: Enforce radiation safety protocols, ALARA principles, and relevant State/Territory statutory regulations to ensure the safety of patients and team members.
Quality & Workflows: Maintain accurate patient records, optimise exposure parameters for low-dose output, and assist with equipment calibration and quality assurance programs.
Collaboration: Working as part of dynamic team, connecting with other clinical modalities, radiologists and patients is critically important in this new role.
Education: Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiography) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
Registration: Current, unrestricted registration with AHPRA (Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia).
Licensing: Valid Victorian Radiation Use Licence (EPA).
Technical Skills: Experience across CT and general X-ray and dental imaging modalities; other radiography/sonography experience is a plus.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a warm, patient-first demeanor consistent with a community practice setting.
