Hielscher Electrical is a locally owned and operated Cairns business specialising in solar and battery installations across the Cairns region.

We're growing and are looking for an experienced electrician to join our team.

Whether you're already working in solar or looking for a change from traditional electrical work, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll be supported by our dedicated and experienced team, both in the office and on-site.

What You'll Be Doing

• Solar and battery installations
• Switchboard upgrades
• Testing, commissioning and fault finding
• Supervising and mentoring apprentices
• Completing compliance documentation and STC paperwork
• Providing excellent customer service on site
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
• Working in accordance with Australian Standards and industry requirements

What We're Looking For

• Current QLD Electrical Licence

• Current Driver Licence

• SAA Accreditation

• Current CPR/LVR

• White Card

• Working at Heights (or willingness to obtain)

• Good understanding of Australian Standards and Ergon Energy requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in domestic and/or commercial electrical work

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Good communication skills and a professional attitude

• Reliable, motivated and able to work independently and within a team
