Workshop Technician

The Workshop Service Technician is responsible for the provision of detailed and efficient diagnostic, maintenance and repairs of Liebherr mobile cranes to meet customer demands and minimise downtime. The role of the workshop technician also encompasses the provision of the highest level of customer service and with maintaining a safe workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Your key duties shall include, but are not limited to;
Diagnose and repair faults on electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic components on Liebherr mobile cranesCarry out preventative maintenance and servicing on Liebherr mobile cranesCarry out diagnostics/examinations using specialised tools and equipmentRequest required spare parts for timely completion of jobsOperate repair equipment including mobile lifting equipmentAccurately complete documentation including timesheets, maintenance records and any customer/site specific documentation required

Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Maintain effective relationships with customers and assist customers with maintenance planning
Receive and provide on-the-job training to acquire and share knowledge of Liebherr mobile cranes
Personal (i.e. individual’s) health and safety performance and behaviour and that your acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of others
Compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) and Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) Policy and Procedures.
Alerting the organisation of potential or known problems that affect the quality of LAS products and services
Initiate recommendations for improvement of the organisation’s policies and processes
Other duties as directed

Essential

About you
A recognised Trade in the mechanical, electrical or electronics field
Current driver’s license
Liebherr Mobile Crane maintenance experience

Preferred
High Risk Licenses; Forklift, EWP, Basic rigging, Overhead crane
Working at Heights certificate
