About the role
You will be responsible for supervising bulk earthworks and road maintenance crews, coordinating daily site activities, personnel and equipment, leading pre-starts, toolbox meetings and safety discussions, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to specification, monitoring production targets and project progress, working closely with project management, HSE and client representatives, supporting and developing crew members, and completing required daily reports and site documentation.
Key responsibilities
Supervising bulk earthworks and road maintenance crews
Coordinating daily site activities, personnel and equipment
Leading pre-starts, toolbox meetings and safety discussions
Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to specification
Monitoring production targets and project progress
Working closely with project management, HSE and client representatives
Supporting and developing crew members
Completing required daily reports and site documentation
About you
Previous experience supervising civil or mining crews
Strong bulk earthworks and road maintenance experience
Current S26 statutory supervisor qualification
Sound knowledge of mining safety requirements
Confident, practical and respectful leadership style
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Current Australian driver's licence
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
