ABOUT THE ROLE

We seek qualified and motivated Business and Management Lecturers/Trainers to deliver face-to-face training for the Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning).

This qualification provides highly specialised knowledge and skills in organisational learning and capability development. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in learning strategy, leadership, organisational change, and applied research, and be able to facilitate engaging, simulated, and scenario-based learning and assessments at a postgraduate level.

The subject areas/units include:

• Lead innovative thinking and practice

• Initiate and lead applied research

• Manage financial resources

• Provide leadership across the organisation

• Lead personal and strategic transformation

• Lead learning strategy implementation

• Establish career development services

• Lead and manage organisational change

• Manage in a Vocational Training College environment

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver exceptional training and assessment in a face-to-face environment.

• Facilitate practical, real-world learning experiences in organisational learning and capability development.

• Ensure compliance with NIT’s training and assessment policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain current industry knowledge and professional practice in learning and organisational development.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential:

• Postgraduate qualification/s in Business, Management, Organisational Learning, Human Resource Management, or a related field.

• TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent or higher qualification).

• Demonstrated experience in organisational learning, capability development, leadership, or change management.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong organisational skills and commitment to delivering high-quality learning experiences.

• Eligibility to work in Australia.

Desirable:

• Relevant vocational or industry experience in learning and development or organisational leadership roles.

• Experience delivering Graduate Diploma or higher-level qualifications.

• Experience delivering face-to-face training to diverse student cohorts.

• Established industry and professional networks in organisational development or learning management.
