Montessori Beginnings is a premium Early Learning organisation with locations across Melbourne. Our large, bright, and well-established service in Maribyrnong is expanding its team to provide more spaces for children and families.

Summary:

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join the team at our Maribyrnong centre. The successful candidates will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young children can learn and grow. Educators will work collaboratively with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.

We have positions available across all age groups for Educators of all experience levels and qualifications who are excited to help create beautiful spaces for children and families.

About You:

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about the Early Childhood industry and can engage children in inspiring Montessori learning environments. Full training will be provided, and every educator will have the opportunity to join our unique Montessori Training Program, where you will gain all the skills and knowledge you need—and more!

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and programs for young children
• Create a safe and welcoming environment that promotes learning and exploration
• Observe and assess children's development and progress, and communicate regularly with parents and caregivers
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, to support children's individual needs
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of children's progress and development

You will be fun, energetic, friendly, motivated, and ready to become a valued member of our Montessori Beginnings Maribyrnong family.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or be actively working towards one
• Current WWCC (Working with Children Check), First Aid, and Mandatory Reporting certification
• Full working rights in Australia
• Full time or casual positions available
• Experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting
• Knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with parents, caregivers, and other professionals
