Protex Water Pty Ltd Protex Water Pty Ltd is seeking a Project Engineering Technician to support the testing, commissioning and certification of mechanical plant and equipment across its packaged water and wastewater treatment systems. Protex Water is an Australian manufacturer of advanced treatment plants servicing the mining, municipal, industrial and agricultural sectors nationwide. Key responsibilities Conduct factory acceptance testing, wet commissioning and site acceptance testing of pumps, blowers, filters and packaged treatment plants, including performance and calibration checks on installed instrumentation.

  Collect and analyse test and commissioning data, and prepare results, diagrams and performance certification supporting engineer sign-off.   Perform pipe and pump sizing calculations, and evaluate and recommend equipment, instruments and valves, including material and cost estimates.   Prepare inspection and test plans and reports and commissioning plans, and verify completed plant conforms to project specifications.
