We are looking for a Senior Associate (preferably with 5+ PQE) to join our Sydney or Melbourne Corporate team supporting our national Corporate Partners. To be successful and thrive in this role you will have the following skills
preferably, at least 5 years’ experience in a well-regarded corporate practice, with involvement across private and public M&A and equity capital markets transactions and other corporate advisory worka strong commercial awareness with the ability to produce high-quality work producta genuine interest in building and maintaining lasting client relationships and mentoring the junior members of the teamexcellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities and workstreamsan ability to communicate effectively and professionally (written and verbal
You will join a highly regarded national team where there will be opportunities for you to develop your expertise, build your profile in the market, mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the growth of the practice.
Your role
We are looking for a Senior Associate with experience in public M&A and equity capital markets, interested in working closely with a team of prominent corporate partners, working on a broad range of matters encompassing:
public M&A (takeovers and schemes of arrangement)equity capital markets (IPOs and other capital raisings)private M&Acompliance with the ASX Listing Rules and Corporations Actcorporate governance
You will interact with clients directly and negotiate a wide range of complex deals with access to partners in an open and collaborative working environment.
