Experienced Joinery / Cabinet Making Tradesperson

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Joiner or Cabinet Making Tradesperson to join our Team and apply their expertise to the production of high-quality custom furniture.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret architectural and workshop drawings
• Ability to calculate material and cutting lists
• Construct jigs and fixtures as required
• Operate woodworking machinery, including panel saws and thicknessers
• Program and operate CNC woodworking machinery, including flat-bed CNC machine
• Select appropriate materials, fittings, and hardware
• Assemble and finish furniture components to a high standard

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Trade Qualification or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant trade
• A strong interest in furniture making and craftsmanship
• Sound knowledge of timber materials, hardware, and construction methods
• Good mathematical and measuring skills
• Strong communication and organisational abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating initiative when required
• Excellent punctuality and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
• A positive attitude and commitment to producing quality work
