This role provides exposure across sales, purchasing, operations and project delivery, with the opportunity to build strong commercial experience within a large and established organisation.

YOUR ROLE

Working closely with our sales and project teams, you'll provide day-to-day support across new and existing customer opportunities while coordinating projects involving capital equipment, specialised deliveries, pricing arrangements and multiple stakeholders.

You will be the key link between sales, customers, suppliers, purchasing and operations, ensuring everyone has the right information and projects progress smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Support the sales team with quotes, product options and new and existing business opportunities
• Coordinate customer projects from initial review through to completion and delivery
• Process and track customer orders, supplier orders, pricing arrangements and delivery requirements
• Maintain project plans, registers, timelines, milestones and relevant documentation
• Liaise directly with customers and suppliers to provide updates and resolve issues
• Coordinate with purchasing, finance, operations, carriers and sales teams to keep projects moving
• Monitor supplier updates, backorders and delivery requirements and communicate changes quickly
• Identify opportunities to improve pricing, delivery efficiency and project margins
• Provide practical technical and coordination support to Business Development Managers and their customers

ABOUT YOU

This role will suit someone with a background in sales support, project coordination, customer service, order management or commercial administration who enjoys taking ownership and working across different parts of a business.

You'll ideally bring:

• Experience coordinating customer orders, projects or sales opportunities
• Strong customer service and stakeholder communication skills
• Confidence working with sales teams, suppliers and operational teams
• Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately at pace
• Good Microsoft Office skills, with strong Excel capability
• A practical, hands on approach to problem solving
• Experience maintaining sales pipelines, project registers, quotes or order documentation

Previous project management experience or qualifications in project management, commerce, engineering, purchasing, logistics or supply chain would be beneficial but are not essential.
