About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Risk Management, this senior leadership role is responsible for the ongoing effectiveness of the organisation’s risk governance frameworks, enterprise risk processes, and GRC platform.
  
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring risk management practices are scalable, fit-for-purpose, and consistently applied across the business, while enabling strong risk insights and decision-making at the executive level.
  
This is a highly visible role that combines strategy, systems ownership, and stakeholder influence, with the opportunity to drive meaningful uplift in risk capability and culture.
  
Key Responsibilities Include:

• Owning and evolving the Risk Management Framework, policies, and governance standards
• Acting as business owner for the GRC platform, including roadmap, optimisation, and data integrity
• Enabling enterprise risk processes including RCSAs, KRIs, incidents, and emerging risks
• Overseeing business resilience and continuity governance and reporting
• Delivering high-quality risk insights and reporting to senior leadership and governance forums
• Driving continuous improvement, capability uplift, and consistent risk practices across the business

  
What You Bring to the Role

• Extensive experience in operational risk, governance, or risk enablement within financial services
• Strong expertise in risk frameworks, policies, and enterprise risk processes
• Hands-on experience managing or owning a GRC platform
• Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders
• Leadership experience with a focus on building high-performing teams
• A pragmatic approach to embedding risk practices in a commercial environment
