CSSD Technician

Our ISS Health Team is growing, and we are currently seeking an experienced CSSD Technician to join us at Modbury Hospital, on a casual basis. 

About You:

• Certificate III or higher in Sterilisation Services is essential
• Previous experience working in a CSSD or hospital/surgical setting (preferred)
• Sound knowledge of infection control principles and AS/NZS 4187 standards
• Flexibility and reliability to work weekday shifts
• Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in instrument reprocessing, including decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterilisation
• Have strong communication and time management skills
• Evidence of immunisation for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diphtheria, Hep B, Polio as per SA Health Worker policy
• Flexibility to work a rotational roster; including early mornings, night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Current Police Clearance, or ability to obtain, is essential
• Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC) or ability to obtain, is essential
