Storeperson / Workshop Assistant

We are looking for a Storeperson/Workshop Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and workshop in Archerfield QLD. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be responsible for receiving stock, assembling fire protection equipment, preparing customer orders and helping keep our warehouse running efficiently.

What you’ll actually be doing  

In this role, you will: 

• Receive and dispatch goods. 

• Pick, pack and allocate stock. 

• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely. 

• Complete stocktakes and maintain inventory records. 

• Deliver and collect materials as required. 

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse. 

• Follow company procedures and supporting the wider team. 

About You  

You will bring:  

• Current Forklift licence    

• Previous stores/workshop experience ideally within a manufacturing environment   

• Ability to work efficiently and in a fast-paced environment   

• High level organisational and communication skills  

• Ability to work within a role where heavy lifting is required  

Experience within the fire protection industry will be highly regarded but is not essential.
