About the role

Commercial Credit Loans (AUS) is seeking a Finance Broker to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. This role is based in Sydney, NSW and offers an excellent opportunity to work within the banking and financial services sector, specifically in account and relationship management.

As a Finance Broker, you will be responsible for connecting clients with appropriate financial solutions, managing relationships, and facilitating lending transactions. This is a pivotal position that directly impacts our clients' financial success and our company's reputation in the competitive lending market. You will work closely with lenders, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth transaction processes and exceptional service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assess client financial needs and recommend appropriate loan products and financial solutions

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, and financial institutions

• Prepare and submit loan applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate

• Negotiate loan terms and conditions on behalf of clients to secure the best possible outcomes

• Liaise with lenders to track application progress and resolve any issues or queries

• Provide professional financial advice and guidance to clients throughout the lending process

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, lending criteria, and company policies

• Maintain detailed records of client interactions and transactions

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand your client portfolio

• Meet agreed targets and performance metrics for loan approvals and client satisfaction

What we're looking for

• Current Finance Broker diploma or Certificate 4

• A positive, can-do attitude and a strong sense of urgency for the role

• Strong knowledge of commercial and retail lending products and the lending process

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients

• Proficiency in financial analysis and the ability to assess creditworthiness and risk

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple relationships and transactions simultaneously

• Sound understanding of compliance requirements, including responsible lending obligations and privacy legislation

• Proficiency with banking and financial software systems

• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail

• Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting sales and service targets

• Preferred: Experience in commercial lending or mortgage broking
