We are seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to join a professional accounting firm in Sydney. This internship provides hands-on experience across accounting, bookkeeping, taxation, payroll, and financial reporting while helping you develop practical skills in an Australian business environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting tasks
• Support the preparation of financial statements and working papers
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with BAS, GST, and payroll processing
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist with general finance and administrative duties

Skills & Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks is advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
