Gold Coast Social Worker - Full time / Part time

We have an amazing opportunity for a Social Worker to join our team!

We are a private practice with a multidisciplinary team also consisting of Exercise Physiologists, Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Dietitians, Social Workers, management and admin staff who value and respect each other and our team culture very highly. You will be required to be invested in a holistic approach to your client’s well-being and have excellent interpersonal skills and enthusiasm.

This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced or graduate Social Worker to join our team and have a significant impact in the optimal lifelong health of patients in our community. Our practice has a loyal client following due to the great relationships we have established with GPs, community groups, specialists and local sporting clubs.

We are looking for the right Social Worker to come on board to take over a caseload for an immediate start (following online and onsite training). You will be treating clients in a private clinic facility, home, and/or Medical Centre from all funding systems including (but not limited to) Medicare, Private, NDIS, DVA, WorkCover, Insurance and sporting populations.

The successful applicant will require:

• Experience as a private practice Social Worker is desirable, not essential

• Current AASW Accreditation 

• Ability to build and maintain rapport with patients and other health professionals

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment

• Competent in computer skills and ability to learn scheduling and software programs.

• Passion for ongoing learning and progression

• Driver’s license
